W&S Motorsport continues to hit the throttle this winter, competing in the GT4 Winter Series (GT4WS) 2024. Licensed by the SRO, the racing series will be run for the first time as an official GT4 championship as part of the GT Winter Series, which features GT3 and LMP cars, from the 2024 season. With homologated GT4 cars with the BoP of the SRO and tyres of the official partner Pirelli, the GT4WS is the perfect championship to prepare for a season such as in the ADAC GT4 Germany, GT4 European Series and GTC Race. The GT4WS is also interesting for Nordschleife drivers to keep fit and develop during the race-free time. W&S Motorsport is the strongest Porsche team in the ADAC GT4 Germany and GT4 European Series this season and was at the front of the championship fight in all racing series.
Following the motto "After the season is before the season", the team of Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas would like to offer interested junior drivers, amateurs, beginners as well as professional racing drivers, the opportunity for a perfect season preparation and will enter its Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in the six race events in Portugal and Spain.
Each event will feature two qualifying sessions, two sprint races of 30 minutes each and an endurance race over one hour. The series is reserved for Silver and Bronze drivers and there is the option of competing in the races as a single entrant or as a driver duo. All races will be broadcast in a free livestream. The top 3 drivers in the championship will also receive prize money, which is a further bonus and can be used towards the season budget in the ADAC GT4 Germany or GT4 European Series. In addition, participation in in private test days with approx. 140 minutes of driving time per day in the immediate run-up to the GT4WS events is optional.

That is why we are not going into hibernation, but to Spain and Portugal to prepare ourselves and our drivers optimally for the new season. The new GT4 Winter Series is the perfect platform for juniors, amateurs and beginners to get used to the car, the way the team works and the tyres. We also support our drivers with professional data analysis, coaching and preparation on our own race simulator so they can continuously improve and succeed. We are looking forward to participating in the GT4 Winter Series and want to be at the front here as well."

After an extremely successful season in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the ADAC GT4 Germany, the GTC Race as well as the Am title win in the European GT4 Series, there is no winter break for W&S Motorsport. The team of Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas, which exists since 2010, will run its Porsche fleet in the GT Winter Series 2022/23 as well as in the Endless Summer Test- & Trackdays.

W&S Motorsport will compete in the 2023 GT4 European Series with three Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport and a strong international driver line-up. The team from the Swabian region led by team bosses Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas was able to impress as European champions in the AM class in the SRO racing series in 2022 and aims to build on this triumph in the upcoming season.
