About W&S

"We develop performance" - This philosophy is reflected in all areas at W&S Motorsport. Development, progress, innovation, performance and team spirit are the central pillars that W&S Motorsport focuses on. Continuous development of the team, drivers and vehicles are our key to success.

W&S Motorsport was founded in 2011 by Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas. The team's name is made up of the first letters of the surnames Wagner and Schellhaas. In 2021, the team from Ofterdingen in Swabia celebrated not only its 10th anniversary but also its most successful season in motorsport to date. In 26 races, the drivers from W&S Motorsport were at the top of the podium a total of 24 times. In the Nuerburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the team took the runner-up title and was the winner of the Cayman GT4 Trophy by Manthey-Racing.

In 2022, W&S Motorsport was expanding its program and, in addition to the NLS, 24h Nürburgring, RCN and GTC Race, was also competing in the ADAC GT4 Germany and GT4 European Series. Eight Porsche cars from W&S Motorsport participated in almost 60 races and scored numerous victories, podium finishes and points. The biggest successes for the team of Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas were winning the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) with the AVIA racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 992 and drivers Daniel Blickle, David Jahn and Tim Scheerbarth, winning the AM Drivers' Championship and team runner-up title in the GT4 European Series with Andrey Solukovtsev and Mikhail Loboda in their debut season. Furthermore, Daniel Blickle once again finished as runner-up in the NLS drivers' championship.

In the ADAC GT4 Germany 2023, AVIA W&S Motorsport won the team championship and finished third in the drivers', junior and trophy classifications. In the GT4 European Series, W&S Motorsport also took two third places in the Pro-Am championship for drivers and teams with drivers Max Kronberg and Hendrik Still. The racing team was at the front of the championship battle in all racing series and established itself as the strongest Porsche team in the GT4 field.

Besides "normal" everyday racing, W&S Motorsport also focuses on the use, development and introduction of new, sustainable technologies in motorsport. For example, the team has been assisting in the use of a race car with innovative Space Drive technology since 2020 and is the world's first racing team to complete a 24-hour race without a mechanical connection between the steering wheel and steering.

In addition to motorsports, W&S Motorsport GmbH operates a car repair shop and develops equipment for needs related to cars and motorsports.
