Senna Summerbell und Tommi Gore wechseln in den Jamaika-Porsche von AVIA W&S Motorsport

AVIA W&S Motorsport will be reinforced in the ADAC GT4 Germany by Senna Summerbell and Tommi Gore and will compete with four cars from the event at the Nürburgring. The two Jamaicans will drive the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport #32 in the unique Jamaican design.

The two drivers from Kingston began their careers in karting and have competed in various junior racing series in the Caribbean. Motorsport was born in the cradle for 22-year-old Summerbell and 18-year-old Gore. Their fathers, Doug Gore and David Summerbell, were two of the best racing drivers in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Both won several international competitions in and outside the Caribbean. Their sons want to follow in their footsteps and also race and celebrate success in Europe.

After competing in the Caribbean Radical Cup and the Radical Cup UK, Tommi Gore made his debut in Formula 4 Central Europe at the end of 2023. Senna Summerbell is a four-time Jamaican karting champion and raced in Formula Prototype Canada in 2023. After a difficult start to the 2024 season in the highly competitive German GT4 racing series, the pair will join the team of Patrick Wagner and Daniel Schellhaas from the fourth round at the Nürburgring in cooperation with their main sponsor S Hotels Jamaica. Gore will also be in contention for points in the Junior classification.

The ADAC GT4 Germany returns to the Nürburgring from 16th to 18th August. Regular drivers Finn Zulauf and Josef Knopp (#31), Max Kronberg and Hendrik Stilll (#30) as well as Tano Neumann and Alon Gabbay (#9) will also be lining up for AVIA W&S Motorsport in the Eifel.

Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal AVIA W&S Motorsport: "We would like to give Senna and Tommi a very warm welcome and look forward to working with them! We will give them the best possible support to help them quickly familiarise themselves with the car and develop as drivers. I am delighted that they have chosen AVIA W&S Motorsport to accompany them on their journey in European motorsport and I am excited to see the Jamaica Porsche on track for the first time."

Senna Summerbell, Driver #32: "I am very pleased to announce my move to AVIA W&S Motorsport! Although we have faced some challenges in our campaign so far, I am confident that AVIA W&S Motorsport will provide us with the opportunities we need to learn and achieve better results. The team has an incredible line-up of drivers and highly professional team members and I look forward to being part of the W&S Motorsport family."

Tommi Gore, Driver #32: "After speaking to the AVIA W&S Motorsport team for the first time at the Lausitzring, I knew there was a great opportunity ahead of us. Our start to the season this year has not been the best, but I feel like this switch can be special and a pivotal point for our careers going forward. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from this new opportunity to get back on track and achieve the results I feel we are capable of. We will give our all to represent our country, our sponsors and the AVIA W&S Motorsport team at the highest level."
