Young talent Finn Zulauf strengthens AVIA W&S Motorsport in ADAC GT4 Germany

Ofterdingen: AVIA W&S Motorsport will compete in the 2022 ADAC GT4 Germany with its Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport and welcomes Finn Zulauf (17/Königstein im Taunus) on board. Alongside the Dane Nicolaj Møller Madsen, the young German talent will fight for top positions and points in the Junior classification.

Finn Zulauf started driving a kart at the age of seven. The driver from Königstein contested his first kart race in 2013 and his first competition in a race car took place in 2020. Zulauf contested the 2021 GTC Race season with W&S Motorsport and helped the team to the runner-up title in the team classification. He was so convincing with his talent that he will be competing in the series this year as a GT3 support driver. The youngster gained his first experience in the ADAC GT4 Germany at W&S Motorsport's guest start in Oschersleben in 2021.

"Finn is an incredibly talented young man and working with him has always been very good. He is focused and inquisitive and seems to be well on his way to becoming a professional driver," praises team boss Daniel Schellhaas. He continues: "With Nicolaj at his side, he will quickly be able to assert himself in the ADAC GT4 Germany and prove his ability. The duo has potential to win and we will stand behind him as a team and support him to be successful together."

"I am very happy to be racing with W&S Motorsport again this year and I will give everything to perform as well as possible. With Nicolaj Møller Madsen and AVIA W&S Motorsport, I have the best conditions and opportunities to be able to attack - and I want to use them. I am very grateful to everyone who made this possible for me and I am really looking forward to the new challenge," says Finn Zulauf.

The successful racing team from Ofterdingen will contest the season with two Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. The ADAC GT4 Germany kicks off on the last weekend in April. Over 40 GT4 cars will offer top-class and exciting racing at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Two rounds will be held each weekend. A total of six race tracks will be visited as part of the supporting programme of the German GT Championship.
