W&S Motorsport and Ximaj IT-Solutions GmbH cooperate at 24h Nürburgring 2024

W&S Motorsport and Ximaj IT-Solutions GmbH are entering into a new partnership for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. The Westerwald-based company designs and develops customised solutions from the digitalisation strategy to the finished system software: from the development of digital systems and IoT retrofits of existing products to automation solutions, Ximaj IT-Solutions offers expert advice, know-how transfer and implementation support across all phases of the digital transformation.

As part of the collaboration with the racing team from Ofterdingen, the Ximaj company logo will be prominently displayed on a Porsche 718 GT4 CS from W&S Motorsport in the Cup3 class of the endurance classic in the Eifel.

With a focus on software and system development, Ximaj's interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, business IT specialists, electrical engineers, mechatronics engineers and business economists have a high affinity for innovative ideas and a passion for state-of-the-art working techniques. As a family business in the Westerwald region close to the Nürburgring, the company has been following motorsport with great enthusiasm for a long time.

At the centre of motorsport are the goals of higher performance and data-driven precision. Motorsport, and therefore also W&S Motorsport, is characterised by efficiency, speed, motivated goals and emotions. To be successful, it requires unrivalled technical sophistication and perfect interaction between all players. These characteristics are essential for the successful development of complex software systems. This is what unites W&S Motorsport and Ximaj - they combine innovative strength, technical expertise and teamwork. The partnership inspires to further strengthen commonalities such as innovation and performance through mutual exchange and to create possible synergies.

The 24-hour race in the Green Hell will take place from 30 May to 2 June 2024 and will once again attract hundreds of thousands of fans and spectators to the grandstands and in front of the screens.

Daniel Schellhaas, Team Principal W&S Motorsport: "It is great to have Ximaj IT-Solutions on board and we would like to give them a warm welcome! Innovation and technology are the core pillars of success in motorsport and are the top priorities for our team. We are happy to have a partner in Ximaj who shares our values and goals. Together with our drivers, we have put together a strong package for the 24-hour race and I hope that we will have a successful race."

Marius Herrmann, Managing Director Ximaj IT-Solutions GmbH: "We are delighted to be working with W&S Motorsport. We are an innovative and technologically advanced company: At Ximaj, we like to think outside the box, and motorsport provides the ideal platform for this. We see the partnership as having the potential to learn from each other through the mutual exchange of reliable solutions and concepts: to integrate our solutions into motorsport and to adapt proven concepts from motorsport for other industries and make them accessible. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the team and look forward to seeing our Ximan fly around the Ring!"
